69. When Food is Your Reward

Receiving without giving can feel wrong in today's transactional society. We enter relationships and all forms of work with the expectation that there will be a balance of giving and receiving, but what happens when the balance is off? Feeling like you are owed can lead to a need to fill the β€œreceiving void” with bad habits like eating. We need to learn to shift our mindsets and give and receive without expectations to avoid the feeling of imbalance. Be kind to yourself, you deserve to receive everything you need to feel balanced and happy!
