42. Punam Saxena - Teach Your Children to Advocate For Themselves in Schools

There are two types of parents: the ones who march into the teacher’s office when their kid comes home crying from school and the ones who don’t know the name of their child’s homeroom teacher. Punam Saxena is a parent impact coach who has seen firsthand the difference it can make in a child’s life when their parent is an active advocate for them. There’s a sweet middle ground where all parents need to be. This involves creating a relationship and partnership with your child’s educator. Being involved in your child’s education will give them room to fail and everything they need to succeed.
