32. Michela Parisi - Is Trauma Unconsciously Affecting Your Day-to-Day Life?

Trauma is a subjective experience, and women tend to minimize their experiences to avoid aligning with stereotypes. Michaela is a licensed professional counselor whose specialty is women who have experienced trauma. She’s using neurofeedback to help her patients change their behavior patterns. If you think you’ve experienced trauma, you probably have, and you need to talk to someone about it. Antidepressants don’t address the root cause of your depression; the main way to get to the root of what’s going on is to go to therapy.
